This cake is Chef Bani's version of an anti plum cake and it is truly created for everyone that dislikes a traditional plum cake. You will initially cut through a wreath of dried fruits and nuts that are glued together with some honey and maple and eventually gorge on a soft cream cheese pound cake. The pound cake is baked with nutmeg, cinnamon, Galgal zest and Orange zest along with chocolate chips dotted all around. Best had warm with a smear of chocolate butter and a generous drizzle of the tangy orange syrup.
Both the chocolate butter and orange syrup will need to be warmed before consumption.
Do not refrigerate, store in a cool area in an airtight box. It will taste better when warmed with some chocolate butter & orange syrup poured on top. Please warm the orange butter syrup before serving.
