This cake is Chef Bani's version of a marble cake in association with All Things Chocolate. Her mother's pound cake recipe has been in the family for over 35 years. You will initially cut through a wreath of pure dulce de leche and dark chocolate ganache, both of which are delicately piped atop a moist and airy marble pound cake.
This cake is comes together with some artisanal produce from All Things Chocolate. Chef Bani has incorporated their cocoa powder and cocoa nibs. The dulce de leche is painstakingly prepared from scratch by cooking the milk for over 4 hours.
Please consume at room temperature and refrain from refrigerating. The pound cake has butter which hardens up in the fridge and disrupts the texture. You may also warm it if you don't mind the piped frostings melted.
