Miam's first savoury addition on the menu is rather exciting! Flakey puff pastry filled with a sinful pork ham and cheese filling! We source our pork ham from Artisanal Meats and our Tomme cheese from Darima Farms in Uttarakhand. The filling is bound together by a béchamel and some fresh herbs, capers and finely chopped jalapeños.
The pie is best served warm. Please reheat it in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. It is on the heavier side and we recommend you balance it with a side of vegetables or salad. The pie will serve 4 people easily.
Consume the pie preferably on the first day & warm it in an oven and not a microwave. It stays good in the fridge for up to 2 days max. Refrigeration will make the puff pastry soggy and you will need to flash it in the oven before serving.
